BROCKPORT, N.Y. — William Smith College senior defender Mekayla Montgomery dominated the draw circle, for the Herons, breaking her own record with 12 draw controls against Brockport today. In addition, senior midfielder Anna Murphy recorded her 100th career point during today's non-conference showdown with Brockport. The 14th-ranked Golden Eagles scored 11 goals in the second half to run past 19th-ranked William Smith, 17-14, in the regular season finale for both teams.

Just over a minute later, Brockport tied the game on an Allison Jennings free position shot. Burns scored the game's next two goals to give William Smith a 3-1 lead. With 26:22 left in the half, she scored in transition off a feed from Delia Lawver. Three minutes later, Burns fired a pass from McMahon past Elmer. A minute later Cunningham beat McCormick with a bounce shot. Conklin's tally came on a free position shot in front of the cage.

Thirty seconds later, Jennings gave the Golden Eagles the lead for good off a pass from Conklin. Conklin pocketed two goals of her own with Burnash and Strough picking up assists. Danielle Hemly and Hibbard also scored on the run.
