GENEVA, N.Y.—The William Smith College field hockey team will begin Liberty League play on HWS Homecoming and Family Weekend. The Herons will welcome the University of Rochester to McCooey Field at noon on Saturday, Sept. 25.

Fans are asked to monitor their health and stay home if they are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. Properly fitting masks that cover the mouth and nose are required in indoor spaces on campus (including restrooms) and in crowded outdoor settings.
William Smith (3-4) is looking to rebound from a 3-1 loss at Hamilton on Wednesday.
Elizabeth Jacobia has a team-leading five goals and is one of three Herons with a team-high two assists.
Rochester (5-2) is coming off a 7-0 win over Houghton on Tuesday. Amanda Strenk has a team-high 10 goals while Karina Bridger sports a team best three assists.
The match will be the 57th all-time meeting with the Herons holding a 42-13-1, however, the Yellowjackets have won each of the past six contests.
