GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart College guard Aidan Rodgers was named the Liberty League Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week by the conference office today.

Hobart also announced that its next two Liberty League games have been postponed due to COVID safety protocols within the visiting teams. Tuesday's contest against Skidmore and Friday's showdown with Bard will not be played as scheduled. Make up dates have yet to be determined.

The Statesmen played only one game last week after their Friday game at RIT was postponed. At Ithaca on Saturday, Rodgers made a run at a triple double, scoring a career-high 21 points, grabbing a career-high eight rebounds, and dishing out a career-high and game-high seven assists. He was 6-of-11 shooting, matching his season-high with four 3-pointers, and made 5-of-8 at the free throw line.

Rodgers has started all 10 games this season, averaging 10.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and a team-leading 2.6 assists. He's shooting 43% from the floor, 41% from 3-point range and 75% at the free throw line.

Hobart is scheduled to return to action Saturday, Jan. 15, when the Statesmen host Union College (5-4, 2-1). Tipoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.

All spectators are asked to monitor their health and stay home if experiencing any COVID symptoms. All spectators are required to wear a properly fitting mask while inside Bristol Gym.
