After a 10-day break, the William Smith College ice hockey team is scheduled to return to action tomorrow, Jan. 27, when it welcomes Oswego to The Cooler for a non-conference contest. Faceoff is set for 8 p.m.

Tomorrow's game will be the second meeting of the season between the former ECAC West foes. The Lakers clipped the Herons 1-0 on Nov. 23 in Oswego, New York. Oswego leads the all-time series 4-2-1, including a 2-1-0 record at The Cooler.

William Smith is 4-12-1 this season and is looking to bounce back from a 1-0 setback against Southern Maine on Jan. 15. The Herons, who are 3-2-1 at The Cooler this season, return home for the first time since Dec. 4, a 1-1 tie with Castleton.

Mia LaPlante is right behind her with six points. She leads the team with four goals.
Amanda Aalto has played a majority of the minutes in goal this season. She is 3-5-1 with a 2.23 goals against average and a .927 save percentage.

Oswego is 8-6-1 overall this season. The Lakers are looking to rebound from a weekend sweep at the hands of second-ranked Plattsburgh. Ariella Haas leads the team with 16 points on four goals and 12 assists. Morgan Shines has a team-best seven goals. Joanna Hiebert has played a majority of the minutes in goal. She is 5-3 -1 with a 2.66 GAA and a .877 save percentage.
