The William Smith College volleyball team will be in action in Bristol Gym twice this weekend. The Herons welcome Bard on Friday, at 7 p.m., and Union on Saturday, at 2 p.m. in their last Liberty League home contests of the regular season.

ABOUT THE HERONS:
- William Smith enters the weekend 12-5 overall with a 3-2 conference record after a heartbreaking five-set loss to Ithaca on Tuesday.
- Sophomore Elaina Wamhoff and first-year Jaylynn McCarthy were named to the Liberty League honor roll after last week's performances.
- First-year Malya Sayre leads the Herons with 193 kills on the season, averaging 3.11 kills per set, followed by sophomore Elizaveta Telepova with 163 kills, averaging 2.67 kills per set.
- Wamhoff sits at 580 assists on the year, averaging 9.35 assists per set which leads the Liberty League. She also brings a strong serving presence to the game as she has recorded 29 aces on the season.
- Sophomore Ariana Angus leads the team in digs with 135, followed by Sayre with 133.
- William Smith shows a strong presence at the net, recording 100 blocks. Senior Lauren DeVaney (0.72 blk/s) and McCarthy (0.71 blk/s) lead the Herons with 44 blocks each. Â
ABOUT THE RAPTORS:
- Bard enters the weekend 6-14 on the season, with a 2-4 record in conference play after defeating Union on Tuesday, in a five-set thriller.
- Ryan Lum leads the team with 180 kills, recording 2.54 kills per set.
- Adi David sits at 456 assists, recording 6.42 assists per set.
- The Raptors have recorded 79 blocks as a team, with Nyla Lawrence leading the way with 43 (0.61 blk/s).
ABOUT THE DUTCHWOMEN:
- Union enters the weekend 10-11 overall, with a 2-4 record in conference play.
- The Dutchwomen will play in a conference matchup at RIT on Friday, before heading to Geneva on Saturday.
- Shannon McGrath leads Union heading into the weekend with 202 kills, recording 3.37 kills per set.
- Haley Kresch sits at 377 assists, recording 5.03 assists per set. Brooke Fleming follows with 247 assists, recording 3.80 assists per set.
- Union has recorded 87 blocks on the season, with Julia Webster leading the way with 40 (0.53 blk/s).
