The fifth-ranked William Smith College soccer team will be back in action on Saturday, Sept. 10, when it welcomes Vassar College to Cozzens Field to begin a two-game homestand to conclude the regular season. The Liberty League contest is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.

The Herons enter the weekend with an 11-1-2 overall record and a 6-0-1 mark in conference play. William Smith has won seven straight contests and is unbeaten in its last 11 games. The Brewers are 7-4-3 overall with a 3-2-1 mark in the Liberty League. Assar is coming off a 6-1 win over St. Lawrence last Saturday.

- Emma Faso leads the team with 18 points on eight goals and two assists.
- Ava Ruppersberger is right behind her with 16 points on six goals and four assists.
- Ruth Hotaling has a team-high five assists.
- Kirsten Nelson and Amanda Kesler have split time in goal this season. Nelson is 7-0-0 with a 0.28 GAA and a .917 save percentage. Kesler is 4-1-2 with a 0.58 GAA and a .750 save percentage.
