GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart College football team will welcome their longtime rivals from the University of Rochester to Boswell Field Saturday, Nov. 12 for the Centennial Cup game. Prior to the 1 p.m. kickoff, the Statesmen will honor 17 seniors or graduate students, who will be playing their final regular season home game.
The game will be the 114th all-time meeting between Hobart and Rochester, a rivalry that began in 1892. In 2007, a trophy was commissioned—the Centennial Cup—to celebrate the 100th contest in the series. The Statesmen have won 10 straight and 13 of 14 Centennial Cup games. Overall, Hobart leads the series 58-48-7.
The game will be broadcast live on WEOS-FM (89.5/90.3 in Geneva). Fans can watch the game on
