GENEVA, N.Y.—The William Smith College swimming and diving team hosted Oswego and St. Lawrence this afternoon in Bristol Pool. Three different Herons posted three top-three performances to help the Herons to a split on the day. The Herons defeated Oswego by a score of 137-96 and fell to St. Lawrence 192-74. William Smith now sits at 5-2 on the season, with a 2-1 record in Geneva.
First-year
Hali Seidberg finished first in the women's 50-yard butterfly, posting a time of 29.07. She then finished second in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:05.60. She also took part in the 200-yard medley relay team which took third place, with a time of 2:01.59.
Sophomore
Tessa Yohan placed second in the 200-yard IM event (2:25.56) and third in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:07.09. Yohan was the anchor leg in the 200-yard medley relay team that took third place.
First-year
Lea Emanuel also took place in the third place 200-yard medley relay team to start off the day. She then placed third in the women's 1000-yard freestyle, posting a time of 11:51.21. Emanuel's best finish of the day came in the 500-yard freestyle, where she posted a 5:46.03 to finish in second place.

The Herons will be back in action on Dec. 2-3 when they head to Rochester to take place in the Don Richard Invitational at RIT. Friday's action is set to start at 4 p.m. with action on Saturday set to begin at 9 a.m.
