Statesmen host Thoroughbreds in league opener

The Hobart College basketball team will host Skidmore College to begin Liberty League play at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19 in Bristol Gym. Fans can watch the game exclusively on HWS All-Access or track the action with Live Stats.
 
The Statesmen are 2-2 following a 71-67 set back at Brockport on Wednesday. Senior Jackson Meshanic leads Hobart in scoring and rebounding, averaging 15.0 points and 10.3 rebounds. He's logged a double-double in each of the past three games.
 
The Thoroughbreds improved to 2-0 with an 88-74 win at Hartwick on Tuesday. Tautvydas Kupstas leads Skidmore in the scoring column with 21.0 points while Riley Greene has a team-high 17 rebounds.
 
SERIES SNAPSHOT
  • Hobart and Skidmore will face off for the 64th time on Saturday. The Statesmen lead the series 41-22, including a 23-9 record against the Thoroughbreds in Geneva.
