The William Smith College ice hockey team will begin a three-game road trip tomorrow, Nov. 29, when it heads to Skaneateles, New York, to take on Potsdam in a neutral site game. Faceoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
 
The Herons are 4-4-1 overall and are looking to bounce back from a loss to Oswego last Tuesday. The Bears are 4-3-0 and swept King's over the weekend.

ABOUT THE HERONS

• Kayla Ketchabaw leads William Smith with eight points on five goals and three assists.
• Mia LaPlante is right behind her with seven points on three goals and four assists. She shares the team lead in assists with Julianna Gong.
• Erin Murray and Annie Hauser have split time in goal. Murray is 3-2-0 with a 2.41 GAA and a .934 save percentage. Hauser is 1-2-1 with a 2.63 GAA and a .902 save percentage. 

 
ABOUT THE BEARS

• Kaylee Merrill leads the team with 13 points and 10 goals.
• Rebecca Cain has a team-best five assists.
• Ellie Zurfluh has played a majority of the minutes between the pipes. She has a 4.37 GAA and a .891 save percentage.

 
SERIES HISTORY

• Saturday's game will be the ninth meeting between William Smith and Potsdam.
• The Bears hold a 4-2-2 edge in the series, including a 3-1-1 mark away from Geneva. This will be the first neutral site meeting between the two teams.
