GENEVA, N.Y.— The William Smith College basketball team is scheduled to host their final pair of Liberty League games this weekend in Bristol Gymnasium. The Herons will take on Vassar College Friday, Feb. 18 at 5:30 p.m. and Rensselaer Saturday, Feb. 19 at 2 p.m.

The games will be webcast on HWS All-Access and broadcast on WHWS-FM (105.7). Fans can also track the action with Live Stats.

Olivia Parisi leads William Smith in scoring, averaging 18.3 ppg while grabbing 8.3 rpg. Three-time Liberty League Rookie of the Week Brooke Jarvis is second in scoring (17.2 ppg), and third in rebounding (7.3 rpg). Lauren DeVaney is William Smith's top rebounder at 10.2 rpg while contributing 11.8 ppg.

The Herons are 7-16 overall, 6-10 in the Liberty League. William Smith is in seventh place, one game out of a spot in the six-team Liberty League Tournament. RIT (10-11, 7-9) is in sixth place and hosts Rensselaer and Bard. Skidmore and Union are tied for fourth with 8-8 conference marks. The Thoroughbreds and Dutchwomen are both on the road in the North Country this weekend. With the right combination of Heron wins and losses elsewhere in the league, William Smith could pass RIT and/or move into a tie with the Tigers or pull even with Skidmore and/or Union.

Vassar is 16-6, including 15-1 in conference play. Dani Douglas is averaging double digits at 15.3 ppg. Sarah Gillooly paces the team in rebounding (5.6) and is second on the team in scoring (13.4).

William Smith leads the all-time series against the Brewers 36-11, but Vassar won 95-71 when the teams last met back on Dec. 4 in Poughkeepsie.

Rensselaer is 5-16 overall, 4-12 in the Liberty League. Ashlyn O'Neil leads the team in scoring (10.9 ppg). Nicole Dapra is close behind averaging 10.0 ppg.

William Smith also leads the all-time series against the Engineers 45-26, including a 59-51 on Dec. 3 in Troy.
