The fifth-ranked William Smith College soccer team begins a two-game road trip on Saturday, Sept. 24 when it heads to Saratoga Springs, New York, to take on Skidmore. The match is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. on Wachenheim Field.

ABOUT THE HERONS:
- William Smith brings a 4-1-1 record into the weekend with a 1-0-0 mark in Liberty League play. The Herons are coming off a 4-1 win over Rochester Institute of Technology on Wednesday.
- After scoring a pair of goals against the Tigers, Ava Ruppersberger leads the team with nine points on three goals and three assists.
- Emma Faso and Seneca Blakely-Armitage both have two goals.
- Amanda Kesler and Kirsten Nelson have split time in goal. Nelson is 3-0-0 with a 0.64 goals against average and an .867 save percentage. Kesler is 1-1-1 with a 0.35 GAA and an .875 save percentage.
