The Hobart College soccer team will be back in action tomorrow, Sept. 28, when it hosts Ithaca in a key Liberty League contest on Cozzens Field. The game is set to start at 4 p.m.

Hobart is looking to snap a two-game winless streak. The Statesmen earned their first point in conference play with a 1-1 draw with Skidmore on Saturday. Hobart and Ithaca are currently tied for seventh in the Liberty League standings with one point each.

ABOUT THE STATESMEN:
- Hobart is 3-2-2 overall and 0-1-1 mark in league play. The Statesmen were 0-1-1 last week, dropping the conference opener to RIT on Tuesday and drawing with the Thoroughbreds on Saturday.
- Quinn Phillips leads the team with six points on two goals and two assists. Nolan Fierro and Brian Sheehan also have two goals.
- Christian Burkhart has played a majority of the minutes in goal. He is 2-1-0 with a 0.50 GAA and an .800 save percentage.

- Ithaca is 1-4-3 overall and is 0-0-1 in conference play. The Bombers played to a scoreless draw with then No. 24 Clarkson on Saturday.
- Ithaca has three players tied for the team lead with one goal.
- Ian Whitfield has played the majority of minutes in goal. He is 0-4-3 with a 1.44 GAA and a .667 save percentage.

- Wednesday's game will be the 66th meeting between the Statesmen and the Bombers. Ithaca is 41-21-3 all-time against Hobart, including a 20-11-2 mark in Geneva.
