COACHES CORNER:
"Today showed me a lot about what this team will be," Head Coach
Derryk Williams said. "We played back-to-back matches in a really hot gym and just continued to push. It was a really strong team effort throughout the weekend with Elaina running the show. Ariana was amazing in the backcourt all weekend and a steady presence when we needed it. Our hitters did a great job finding ways to score and I am excited about where we go from here. Any time as a team you can start 3-0 is great, but it's even more special when it's a brand new program."
UP NEXT:
William Smith will travel to SUNY Brockport on Friday, Sept. 9 to take on the Golden Eagles followed by two matches against Hamilton College and the University of Rochester on Saturday, also at SUNY Brockport.
