ROCHESTER, N. Y.- The Hobart College swimming & diving team traveled to Rochester to take on Roberts Wesleyan this afternoon in a midweek matchup. The Redhawks defeated the Statesmen 124-15 in the nonconference battle.
First-year Tillman Washington headlined the Statesmen with two second-place finishes against the Redhawks. Washington took second place in both 1-meter diving events, posting scores of 124.45 and 122.60.
In the men's 50-yard freestyle event, Avi Rajkarnikar took third place with a time of 25.80. He was followed by first-year Jameson Ardis, who finished in fourth place with a time of 28.09. Rajkarnikar also competed in the men's 100-yard freestyle, where he took fourth place with a time of 59.29.

Hobart will travel to Cazenovia, New York on Saturday, Jan. 21. The meet between the Statesmen and the Wildcats is set to begin at 1 p.m. in the Stephen M. Schneeweiss Athletic Complex.
