The William Smith College volleyball team will host St. Lawrence University in a midweek conference matchup Wednesday. First serve between the Herons and the Saints is set for 7:30 p.m. in Bristol Gymnasium.

ABOUT THE HERONS:
	- William Smith (9-7, 2-1 LL) is coming off a two-win weekend, defeating Skidmore 3-0 and Clarkson 3-2 in Liberty League action.
 
	- Junior setter Elaina Wamhoff and first-year Maysie Malinaric were named to the conference's weekly honor roll after two strong performances last week.
 
	- Sophomore Malya Sayre paces the Herons with 246 kills on the season. She ranks first in the conference in kills per set (4.03) and points per set (4.84), and second in aces per set (.066). Sayre ranks 16th in the nation in points per set, 21st in kills per set, 27th in total points (295.00) and 39th in total kills.
 
	- Wamhoff sits at 511 assists on the year, averaging 8.38 assists per set. She is second in the Liberty League in assists per set, third in aces per set (0.62), and 12th in hitting percentage (.242).  
 
	- Malinaric has recorded a team-leading 176 digs (2.89/s). She is followed by sophomores Marin Montagne with 149 (2.44/s) and Jaylynn McCarthy with 128 (2.10).
 
	- William Smith leads the league in service aces, averaging 2.87 per set as a team. Sayre leads the Herons with 40, while Wamhoff follows closely behind at 38. Malinaric has chipped in 31 this season.
 
	- First-year Lindsay Umlauf is 11th in the conference in blocks with a team-leading 39 (0.64/s).
 
ABOUT THE SAINTS:
	- St. Lawrence (4-10, 1-3 LL) is coming off two losses last weekend at the RIT Invite. The Saints fell 3-1 to both Nazareth and conference foe, RIT.
 
	- Vivian Zymeck leads the Saints with 183 kills (3.27/s), followed by Ariaza Acum-Santos with 136 (2.43).
 
	- Vanessa Latam sits at a team-leading 391 assists (6.98/s).
 
	- Zymeck has recorded 158 digs (2.82/s) this season, while Katrina Henrich follows closely behind at 157 (2.85/s).
 
SERIES SNAPSHOT:
