The Hobart College Soccer team will be back in action tomorrow, Oct. 7, when it hosts Vassar for a Liberty League contest on Cozzens Field. Kickoff is set to start at 3 p.m. This weekend will serve as the Statesmen alumni weekend.

This year's alumni weekend will commemorate the 70th season of Hobart Soccer. In honor of the occasion, Head Coach
Shawn Griffin, Honorary Trustee Thomas B. Boole '61, P '91, L.H.D. '06 and Ralph A. Pica '56 sat down with Ted Baker for a conversation on the early years of the program, their experiences on campus, their distinguished careers, the evolution of athletics and their hopes for this season and beyond.

Events surrounding this year's alumni weekend include the annual alumni soccer game in the Thomas B. Poole '61 and Family Sports Dome. A pregame tailgate in the Scandling Center Lot on the north end of Cozzens Field. The current Statesmen will take on Vassar at 3 p.m. Â Following the game there will be a postgame gathering at The Linden Social Club.

Fans who can't make it to Geneva can follow all the action with HWS All-Access Video and Live Stats. The game will be broadcast on WHWS-FM (105.7).
ABOUT THE STATESMEN
- The Statesmen are 5-4-1 overall and 4-0-0 in the Liberty League after Wednesday's 1-0 win over RIT.
- Sophomore Quinn Phillips and graduate student Nolan Fierro lead the team with seven points each. They both have two goals and three assists.Â
- Senior goalie Guillermo Castañeda Chang has posted three straight shutouts. He is 5-1-0 on the season with a 0.71 GAA and a .852 save percentage.Â

ABOUT THE BREWERS
- Vassar is 5-3-3 overall and 1-1-1 in Liberty League play after tying seventh-ranked Middlebury, 3-3, on Tuesday.Â
- Owen Fauth leads the team with 17 points on six goals and five assists.
- Duncan Keker has also scored six goals for the Brewers.
- Vasilis Ganasoulis has played a majority of the minutes in goal. He is 3-2-3 with a 1.00 GAA and a .758 save percentage.
