Herons head to Messiah to take on #1 Middlebury in NCAA 2nd round

The William Smith College field hockey team will travel to Grantham, Pennsylvania, to take on No. 1 Middlebury College in the second round of the 2023 NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championships on Saturday, Nov. 11. Action between the Herons and the Panthers is set for 11 a.m. on Anderson Field on the campus of Messiah University.
 
The winner will advance to the third round against the winner of No. 4 Messiah and No. 13 SUNY Cortland on Sunday, Nov. 12, at 1 p.m.
 
Ticket sales will be cash only and are $5 for general admission, $3 for students, senior citizens, and military personnel, and $2 for children under 6. 
 
Fans who cannot make it to Anderson Field can follow the action with live stats and video on the tournament homepage courtesy of Messiah athletics.
