CANTON, N.Y. -The Hobart College swimming and diving team traveled north to take on St. Lawrence University in The Frank and Lee Augsbury Pool. The Statesmen battled tough but were edged by the Saints 83-81 to move to 2-4 on the season.
Sophomore

First-year
Christopher Woody had another strong performance as he finished first in the 100-yard breaststroke clocking in at 1:05.91. He also finished second in the 400-yard IM and the 100-yard backstroke to grab Hobart crucial points.
COACHES CORNER
Â
"It was a hard-fought meet today for the Statesmen," said Head Coach
R.C. Weston. "We battled all day, but our young team came up just short. What really impressed me was just how well these guys performed. They never backed down and knew if we were going to have any shot at winning, it was going to come down to a few close races and they gave it everything they had.
Randall Dominguez showed up in a big way and dropped significant time in his sprint events. Chris Woody was so tough in his 400 IM and followed up with an excellent race in his 100 Backstroke. Our divers kept us in the meet and have been extremely important to the success of our program."
