The third-ranked Hobart College ice hockey team returns to The Cooler this weekend, Nov. 17-18, when it begins a five-game homestand with a pair of non-conference matchups. Tomorrow, the Statesmen host Buffalo State University at 7 p.m. The following afternoon Hobart takes on SUNY Fredonia. Puck drop is scheduled for 4 p.m.

The Statesmen enter this weekend with an overall record of 4-2-0. This past Friday, Hobart shut out the University of Southern Maine 10-0. Six different Statesmen scored, and goaltender
Damon Beaver stopped all 15 shots.
Chris Duclair recorded his first career hat trick on his way to earning a spot on the NEHC weekly honor roll. The following day Hobart was edged by Babson 3-1.
Luke Aquaro scored for the Statesmen and.
Mavrick Goyer made 10 saves.

The Bengals are 2-4-0 and the Blue Devils are 2-5-0 after splitting their games against one another this past weekend. On Friday, Buffalo State won 4-1. Four different Bengals scored and Marcus Cumberworth made 32 saves in the win. The following day Fredonia won 4-1. Baxter Kimball scored twice and Charles-Anthony Barbeau made 40 saves. The Blue Devils defeated Morrisville 5-3 on Tuesday to pick up their second win of the season.
