The Hobart College swimming and diving team was back in action against Alfred University in Bristol Pool on Friday. The Statesmen fell to the visiting Saxons, 125-62. Hobart sits at 2-5 on the season while Alfred moves to 3-2.
Sophomore
Jameson Ardis earned his first solo victory of the season in the 500-yard freestyle after stopping the clock at 6:37.36. Ardis then joined teammates
Randall Dominguez,
Holton Frank, and
Rupert Ramsay in the 200-yard relay that took first with a time of 1:46.34.
First-year
Christopher Woody continued to impress in his first season as a Statesman as he finished first in the 200-yard breaststroke stopping the clock at 2:30.72.
Sophomore Barrientos won from the 1-meter diving board earning 223.10 points for his 19th victory of his career.

The Statesmen will be back in action Friday, Dec. 1, when they travel to Rochester, NY for the annual Don Richards Invitational held on the campus of RIT. The meet is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
