The William Smith field hockey team will host No. 4 Messiah University on Saturday, Sept. 23, in a nonconference showdown. The Herons will take on the Falcons at noon on McCooey Field.
Action will be streamed with HWS All-Access Video and Live Stats. Those who cannot make it to McCooey on Saturday can also catch the radio broadcast on WHWS-FM (105.7 in Geneva).

- William Smith (5-3) is coming off a 2-1 win against nationally-ranked University of Rochester. The Herons earned a 2-1 win over the Yellowjackets, thanks to a 3-2 advantage in a shootout that followed two scoreless overtime periods.

- Senior Kristen McCormick helped the Herons to victory with 5 saves against the Yellowjackets on Wednesday. She sits at 4-2 on the season with a save percentage of .700% and a 1.51 GAA.
ABOUT THE FALCONS
- Messiah (5-1) is coming off a 2-1 defeat to No. 3 Johns Hopkins in overtime on Wednesday.
- Aubrey Clark (4G, 2A) leads the Falcons with 10 points, followed by Mallory Kline (3G, 0A) with six points.
