The 17th-ranked Hobart College squash team will return home to the friendly confines of the Smith Squash Center on Sunday, Jan. 14, at noon when it welcomes the 21st-ranked U.S. Naval Academy to Geneva, New York for a match.
 
Fans who cannot make it to the Smith Squash Center can follow all the action with stats and video.
 
FOR THE RECORD

• Hobart enters the weekend with a 2-5 overall record. The Statesmen snapped a two-match losing streak with a 5-4 victory over 25th-ranked Bates on Tuesday.
• The Midshipmen enter the weekend with an 8-6 overall record. Navy will take on St. Lawrence on Friday and face Brown in Canton, New York, on Saturday.

 
ABOUT THE STATESMEN

• First-year Dhirren Rajarathinam leads the Statesmen with a 6-1 overall record. He has played all seven matches at No. 3.
• Senior Hussein Labib has played all seven matches at No. 1. He has two wins.
• Senior Omar Kiwan is second on the team with three wins. He plays in the No. 2 spot.

 
ABOUT NAVY

• Alexander Orr and Ramsay Killinger entered the weekend with a team-leading nine wins.  Orr is 9-4, including a 7-4 mark in the No. 5 spot. Killinger is 9-5 with a 6-5 mark in the No. 8 spot.
• Matt Wang has played 13 matches in the No. 1 spot. He is 7-6 overall.
• Lucas Spiro, Tighe Mullarkey and Matthew Kang also have seven wins.

 
SERIES HISTORY

• This will be the 36th meeting between Hobart and Navy.
• The Midshipmen lead the series 30-4
• Last year, Hobart defeated Navy 6-3 in Washington, D.C.
