POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.—The 17th-ranked Hobart College Squash team downed Vassar College 7-2 at the Kenyon Hall Squash Courts this afternoon. The Statesmen posted sweeps in the top six spots in the lineup to secure the victory.

MATCH SUMMARY
- In the No. 1 spot, senior Hussein Labib swept Rithik Jalali, 11-7, 11-4, 11-4. It was Labib's fourth win of the season. He is 4-7 overall, playing all 11 matches in the No. 1 spot.
- Senior Omar Kiwan cruised to an 11-7, 11-7, 11-2 victory over Jay Vashisht at No. 2. It was Kiwan's fifth straight win. He is 7-4 on the season, including a 4-4 mark at No. 2.
- Sophomore Javier De La Vega bested Konstantinos Georgallides, 11-3, 11-7, 11-6. De La Vega has won four straight matches.
- First-year Marwan Hesham Ali knocked off Lucke Chen, 11-4, 11-5, 11-9 at No. 4. It was Hesham Ali's first collegiate victory.
- Fellow first-year Matthew Aldana topped Razaan Lalji, 11-9, 11-5, 11-5. It was Aldana's second straight victory.
- In the No. 6 spot, Angel Ripolles posted an 11-8, 11-8, 11-7 win.
- At. No. 9, Alexis Rios defeated Gabriel Lugo, 11-7, 5-11, 14-12, 11-6.
- Vassar's two points came in 3-1 victories.

Hobart will be back in action tomorrow, Jan. 21, when it takes on Middlebury College. The final match of the four-game road trip is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
