The home regatta is named in memory of David Lee Arnoff '82, a loyal Hobart alum and passionate sailor who passed away unexpectedly in 2012. The event was renamed in David's honor in 2014 to celebrate his love of sailing and the Colleges.Â
Â
This year HWS will compete against Cornell, Princeton, Vermont, and Wisconsin.
Â
Last year, HWS dominated the regatta winning the event by 56 points. They won both A and B Divisions, crossing the line first eight times. Â
Â
HWS will also be in Kings Point, New York, for the Nevins Trophy and William Smith sailors will be in Annapolis, Maryland, for the Women's ACC Finals.
