GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart Basketball team will make its Bristol Gym season debut Wednesday, Nov. 13, when it welcomes St. John Fisher to Geneva. Tipoff for the non-conference matchup is scheduled for 7 p.m.
The game will be broadcast live on WHWS-FM (105.7) and webcast on HWS All-Access. Fans can also follow the action with Live Stats.
The Statesmen opened the season on the road Saturday, falling to York (Pa.) 65-59. First-year
Monty Nedd led the team with 15 points, five steals and three assists. His efforts against the Spartans earned him the Liberty League Rookie of the Week Award.
The Cardinals split a pair of games in the Westfield State Tournament over the weekend. After dropping an 89-65 decision to Eastern Connecticut State on Friday, SJF rebounded to beat St. Joseph's (L.I.) 64-53.
Wednesday's game will be the 53rd meeting between the Statesmen and Cardinals. St. John Fisher leads the series 32-20, but Hobart has a 12-8 record against the Cardinals in Bristol Gym. The Statesmen have also won three of the past four meetings, including an 85-81 win in Pittsford last season.
