FREDONIA, N.Y.—The William Smith cross country team competed in the NCAA Division III Niagara Regional Championships today. The Herons finished 18th out of 21 teams in their final race of the season.
Junior
Hope Johnson led William Smith on the 6-kilometer course, posting a time of 24:57.6. She was 82nd in a field of 156 runners. Junior
Lillian Morrell ran a season's best 6K, clocking in at 27:22.2. Her time was more than five seconds faster than her previous best set in the Liberty League Championships two weeks ago.
