GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart squash team dropped its home opener to 25th-ranked Hamilton 7-2 on Sunday, Nov. 17. The match began a five-game homestand for the Statesmen.

• Hobart is now 1-3 on the season. 
• The Continentals are 1-0.

MATCH MOMENTS

• Hamilton won their seven points in 3-0 sweeps.
• First-year Toby Clegg-Petri won his match against Joey Applebaum in four games to pick up his second collegiate win. Clegg-Petri  beat Applebaum, 11-7, 8-11, 12-10, 11-8.
• Senior Joseph Raskin Lantos also won his match 3-1. He defeated Hamilton's Carlo Caffuzzi with scores of 11-9, 3-11, 11-6, 11-9.

The Statesmen are back in action next weekend, Nov 23-24, when they host Middlebury and Amherst for a pair of matches at the Smith Squash Center.
