Hobart to welcome Rochester to Bristol Gym

GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart and Rochester will square off for the 141st time on the basketball court when the two sides meet for a non-conference clash in Bristol Gym at 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 26.
 
The game will be webcast on HWS All-Access with Live Stats available on HWSAthletics.com. WHWS-FM will broadcast the game live at 105.7 in Geneva.
 
ABOUT THE TEAMS
 
The Statesmen (3-2) won their own tournament over the weekend to improve to 3-2 on the season. The Yellowjackets (5-1) have won five in a row after a pair of wins in the Mark's Pizzeria Crosstown Shootout last week.
 
Hobart enters the game averaging 63.8 ppg and allowing 62.8 ppg. The Statesmen are +3.0 in rebounding margin and +1.6 in turnover margin.
 
Rochester averages 78.7 ppg and concedes 67.3 ppg. The Yellowjackets are +0.8 on the boards and -0.2 in turnovers.
 
PLAYERS TO WATCH
 
Sophomore Alex Moesch leads the Hobart scoring efforts at 11.4 ppg, including a team-high 11 3-pointers. Senior Aidan Rodgers is right behind him at 10.4 ppg, while chipping in a team-high 2.4 spg. Senior Carter Meshanic adds 9.4 ppg as well as team-leading 7.8 rpg and 3.6 apg.
 
Rochester's lineup also features two double-digit scorers. Logan Jagodzinski is the leading scorer (17.7 ppg), rebounder (6.8 rpg), and thief (1.7 spg). Corvin Oprea contributes 12.7 ppg and Tomiwa Adetosoye is the top playmaker, averaging 5.0 apg.

The Hobart-Rochester rivalry dates back to 1902 with the Yellowjackets holding a decisive 108-32 series lead. However, the Statesmen have won the past two meetings and six of the past 10.
