11/7/2024 3:00:00 PM

The William Smith hockey team continues its three-game homestand this weekend, Nov. 8-9, when it welcomes Albertus Magnus to The Cooler for a weekend series. Friday's game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and Saturday's game will faceoff at 4 p.m.

William Smith is looking to bounce back from a pair of 2-1 losses to Oswego to open the season. On Friday in Oswego, the Herons were edged in regulation. Senior Brianna Felice scored the Heron goal early in the first period. The following night, senior Kayla Ketchabaw scored with less than 10 seconds left in regulation to take the Lakers to overtime

The Falcons are 1-0-1 after a two-game series with Chatham this past weekend. They played to a 2-2 tie on Friday before prevailing 2-1 on Saturday.
