LAS VEGAS, Nev.—The 11th-ranked William Smith soccer team will face No. 1 Washinton (Mo.) in the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer National Championship game on Sunday, Dec. 8, at 3 p.m. (Noon PT) at the University of Nevada Las Vegas' Peter Johann Memorial Stadium.
The Herons, who are making their sixth appearance in the national championship game, are 17-3-4 this season and defeated Emory last night 2-0. William Smith played in the national championship game in 1987, 1988, 1997, 2013 and 2019, winning titles in 1988 and 2013.
The Bears are 22-0-2 and are making their fourth appearance in the national championship game. WashU won the title in 2016.

ABOUT THE HERONS
- William Smith is led offensively by All-American Ruth Hotaling. She has a team-leading 12 assists and 24 points.
- Hotaling is joined by seniors Lindsay Ringbloom and Marjorie Plants and sophomore Kaleigh Darby with a team-high six goals.
