GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart Lacrosse outscored visiting Robert Morris 7-2 in the second quarter to break open a tie game on the way to a 15-10 non-conference win on Boswell Field this afternoon. First-year Chris Patterson posted a game-high seven points on three goals and four assists. Classmate Mike Valent controlled the faceoff X, winning 16-of-22, collected a game-high 12 ground balls and scored twice. Sophomore David Peterkin logged his second straight hat trick. First-year goalie Elhanan Wilson turned back 10 of the 18 shots he faced to earn the win in 53 minutes of work.

Elliott Holden (4 gls) and Ben Starkey (3 gls) accounted for seven of the Colonials' 10 goals. No other visitor had more than a single point. RMU used three goalies. Nate Fetcher got the start and made five first half saves. Liam Rosenthal played most of the second half, making six saves on 10 shots on goal.
