Herons visit #7 Rochester Saturday

William Smith soccer completes its two-game road trip on Saturday, Sept. 21, when it makes the 47-mile trip to Rochester. The match between the seventh-ranked Yellowjackets and the Herons is scheduled for 7 p.m.
 
William Smith is 3-2-1 overall and is coming off a midweek win at Geneseo. The Herons won 2-0, behind goals from senior Marjorie Plants and sophomore Izzy Thors. Graduate student Kirsten Nelson made eight saves to earn her second straight shutout.
 
Rochester stands at 5-0-1 after defeating St. John Fisher 3-0 earlier this week. Grace Kuropatkin made five saves as she earned the shutout.
