The Hobart swimming and diving team was back in action for their first meet of 2025 against SUNY Brockport this afternoon in Bristol Pool. The Statesmen fell 198-80.
Sophomore Christopher Woody led the Statesmen with two individual victories in the 50-yard and 100-yard breast events. Woody clocked in at 29.38 and 1:04.40, respectively to claim first place.Â
First-year Gerard Humiston and junior Daniel Barrientos also secured an individual victory each. Humiston came in first in the 500-yard free with a time of 5:29.97, while Barrientos received his win from the 1-meter diving board with a score of 289.00.

The Statesmen will be back in action on Saturday, Jan. 18, as they travel to Troy, New York, take on RPI. The meet is set to begin at noon.
