GENEVA, N.Y -- Sophomore Mackenzie Morus led the William Smith swimming and diving team with three individual first place finishes as it fell to SUNY Brockport on senior day in Bristol Pool, 152-145. Senior swimmers Maggie Schlehlein, Tori Smith, and Tessa Yohan were celebrated for their lasting impact on the team.
Morus finished first in the 1000-yard free with a time of 11:41.19, followed by a victory in the 500-yard free and the 200-yard IM with respective times of 5:39.77, and 2:21.92.Â
Yohan and first-year Kaleigh Boynton kept the first-place finishes rolling with two individual victories each. Yohan stopped the clock at 2:04.72 in the 200-yard free, and 1:02.87 in the 100-yard fly, while Boynton finished first in the 50-yard breast and 100-yard breast with times of 33.72 and 1:12.52, respectively.Â
From the 3-meter diving board sophomore Emma Aluck secured a first-place finish with a score of 176.40.Â

The Herons will be back in action on the road, Saturday, Jan. 18, against RPI. The meet is scheduled to begin at noon.
