GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart senior guard Aidan Rodgers became the 32nd member of the program's 1,000-point club as the Statesmen scored a 76-65 Liberty League win over Clarkson this afternoon.

Rodgers reached the milestone with his final basket of the game, raising his career scoring total to 1,001 points. He netted seven points in the game. Sophomore Alex Moesch led Hobart with 18 points, connecting on 6-of-12 from the floor, including a pair of 3-pointers, and a 4-for-4 effort at the free throw line. Senior Carter Meshanic added 14 points, knocking down 7-of-9 from the floor. Sophomore Dorian Paki and first-year Monty Nedd gave the Statesmen a boost of the bench, each contributing nine points.

Clarkson's Braeden Burns posted a game-high 24 point, including a 10-of-18 shooting effort. Jack Delgety chipped in 15 points and Lorenzo Rappa and Steve DeRegis each added 10 points.

  • Rodgers eclipsed the 1,000-point mark with 4:23 remaining in the game. He drove from the top of the arc down the left side of the lane and finished a right-handed layup for a 69-58 Hobart lead.
  • The Golden Knights made it a six-point game twice in the second half, the last time on a Rappa layup with two and a half minutes left, but Hobart closed out the win by scoring the final six points of the game.
