The top-ranked Hobart hockey team continues its road trip this weekend, Jan. 10-11, in Saratoga Springs, New York. The Statesmen will take on New England Hockey Conference rival Skidmore for a two-game series at the Saratoga City Rink. Friday's game is set to begin at 7 p.m. with Saturday's game scheduled for a 4 p.m. start.

Hobart enters the weekend 11-0-0 overall this season. The Statesmen shut out Manhattanville 3-0 to open 2025. Graduate student

Damon Beaver stopped all 22 shots as he earned the shutout.

Skidmore is 7-6-0 overall. The Thoroughbreds opened 2025 in the Midwest splitting games with Saint John's and St. Olaf's. Â Skidmore beat the Johnnies 2-1 before falling to the Oles 6-3.
