The 22nd-ranked Hobart soccer team will return home this Saturday, Oct. 11, against Skidmore College. The Liberty League matchup is set to begin at 2 p.m. on Cozzens Field. It begins a stretch where the Statesmen will play four of their final five games of the regular season at home.
 
Hobart enters the weekend with a 9-0-2 overall record with a 4-0-1 mark in conference play. The Statesmen are atop the conference standings with 13 points. Hobart is coming off a 3-2 win over Liberty League rival Ithaca this past Wednesday, extending its winning streak to three games. Senior Quinn Phillips factored into all three goals against Bombers, scoring two and tallying an assist. Senior Tommy Chyzowych played 90 minutes in goal and made three saves.
 
Skidmore is 6-1-3 overall with a 2-0-1 mark in the Liberty League. The Thoroughbreds enter the weekend tied for second in the conference standings with Vassar. Skidmore also enters Saturday's match on a three-game winning streak after beating Ithaca 1-0 last Saturday.

ABOUT THE STATESMEN

• Sophomore Brady Leitner leads the team with seven goals and 15 points.  
• Sophomore Griffin Coutts (4g, 2a) and Phillips (4g, 1a) are right behind him with 10 and nine points, respectively.
• Chyzowych (7-0-1) has played the majority of minutes in goal. He has a GAA of 0.63, a .762 save percentage and four shutouts.
• Hobart is sixth in the nation in winning percentage (.909), 16th in GAA (0.54) and 25th in shutout percentage (.545).

• Tobias Catizone leads the team with nine points on four goals and one assist.
• Dylan Moore follows with three goals and one assist.
