The William Smith soccer team returns to the pitch Saturday, Oct. 11, when it begins a three-game road trip in Saratoga Springs, New York, against Skidmore. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. at the Thoroughbreds' Wachenheim Field.

William Smith, which is receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches poll, is 7-2-2 overall, including a 3-1-0 record in Liberty League play. Skidmore is 4-2-4 overall with a 2-0-2 mark in conference games. The Thoroughbreds are third in the league standings, one point behind William Smith. Skidmore is coming off back-to-back draws, including a scoreless tie against Rensselaer on Wednesday.
