The 17th-ranked Hobart soccer team returns to Cozzens Field this Saturday, Oct. 18, for a key Liberty League match. The Statesmen are set to take on Vassar at 2 p.m.
 
Hobart is 10-0-2 overall with a 5-0-1 mark in conference play after a 2-1 win over Skidmore last Saturday. It extended the Statesmen's winning streak to four games. Junior La Zai Outerbridge and sophomore Griffin Coutts scored for Hobart.
 
Vassar enters the weekend 7-3-2 with a 3-1-1 mark in the Liberty League. The Brewers knocked off St. Lawrence 2-0 in a conference matchup last Saturday.

ABOUT THE STATESMEN

• Sophomore Brady Leitner leads the team with 15 points on seven goals and one assist. Leitner is 11th in the nation in game-winning goals (4).
• Coutts follows with 12 points on five goals and two assists.
• Junior Joe Pariano leads the team in assists with four. Add on two goals and he has eight points.
• Senior Tommy Chyzowych has played the majority of the minutes in goal. He has a GAA of 0.67, a .769 save percentage and four shutouts.
• Hobart enters the weekend tied for second in the nation in winning percentage (.917), 14th in GAA (0.583) and 24th in corner kicks per game (6.83).

• Arden Tobolski leads the team with 26 points and 10 assists. He is second on the team with eight goals. He is second in the nation in assists and assists per game (0.83) and 15th in points per game (2.17).
• Jared Fiske is right behind him with 24 points. He has a team-high 10 goals.
• Jacob Raphan has played the majority of minutes in goal. He has a GAA of 1.50, a .636 save percentage and one shutout.
• Vassar enters the weekend 18th in the nation in assists per game (2.42).
