GENEVA, N.Y.—The William Smith bowling team will host Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday, Oct. 18 at Sunset Bowl. The Herons and Redhawks will compete in a traditional match starting at 12:25 p.m. followed by a Baker match at approximately 1:40 p.m.

William Smith opened the season at the Mercyhurst Invitational on Oct. 4-5. The Herons went 6-4, including an unblemished 5-0 mark on Day 2 of the tournament. Junior Colleen Jump led the team on Day 1, averaging 17.3 pins per frame, while senior Caitlyn Anschutz averaged a team best 19.44 pins per frame on Day 2. She logged a team-high 41 strikes on the weekend.

RWU also competed in the Lakers' invitational, posting a 5-5 record.

All-time, William Smith has played 10 matches against Roberts Wesleyan, leading the series 6-4. William Smith is 4-2 in Baker matches against the Redhawks, while RWU has a 2-1 edge in traditional matches. William Smith also won a best of 7 Baker match over Roberts Wesleyan.
