GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart football team will return to Boswell Field Saturday, Oct. 25 to take on Liberty League rival St. Lawrence in the Statesmen's annual Tackles & Touchdowns for Ability Partners game. Kickoff on Boswell Field at Urick Stadium is scheduled for 1 p.m.
MORE THAN A GAME
- The 15th annual Tackles & Touchdowns game asks fans to pledge $1 for every Hobart tackle and $7 for every Hobart touchdown against the Saints. Fans can also make a flat rate donation.
- Tackles & Touchdowns game raises funds for the Ability Partners Foundation which supports Happiness House in Geneva, Rochester Rehabilitation and the services of CP Rochester.
- Happiness House is a school that gives opportunities to young students and adults with disabilities to learn and flourish in a safe environment.

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW
- Hobart running back E.J. Taylor is quickly approaching the program's career top 10 in both rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. After recording 125 yards and a touchdown at Union, he has 2,091 career yards and 22 career TDs. Taylor is tied for 12th in touchdowns, five away from the top 10. He's 14th in yards, 519 outside of the top 10.
- Statesmen wide receiver Johnny Harding caught five passes for a career-high 142 yards at Union. He's caught at least one pass in every game he's played at Hobart, 17 consecutive games. It's the eighth longest streak in program history.
- Linebacker Mike McGhee leads the Liberty League with 58 tackles this season. He has 192 for his career and needs eight more to become the 30th player in program history with 200 career tackles.
- Quarterback Will Lederman leads SLU in both passing and rushing. He's third in the Liberty League with 1,076 passing yards and has added a team-high 235 yards on the ground.
- Senior wide receiver Nicholas Huhtala is tied for the league lead in receiving touchdowns (5) and fourth in the conference in receptions (25) and receiving yards (373).
