MATCH MOMENTS:
  • The Herons opened the scoring just 1:16 into the game after being awarded a penalty corner. Senior Lily Gutch inserted the ball to Harbert, who fired off a shot at goal. Batchelder deflected Harbert's shot past the Laker goalie to give the Herons an early 1-0 lead.

  • Mantione would strike again with 16 seconds remaining in the opening quarter after capitalizing on another penalty corner opportunity. Harbert recorded her second assist of the day after slotting a pass across net to Mantione. It was Mantione's ninth goal of the season.
  • William Smith continued on its momentum into the second half as Jones tallied her third goal of the season. Mantione forced a fast break, beating two defenders before dishing off a pass to Jones at the top of the arc. Jones chipped a shot past the Laker goalie to give the Herons a 4-0 lead.
  • The Herons would strike again with 20 seconds remaining in the third quarter after being awarded another penalty corner. The ball found the stick of Kogut at the top of the arc, who then dished a pass off to Campisi waiting at the top of the arc. Campisi wound up and fired a shot near post past the Laker goalie to give William Smith a 5-0 lead.
