The top-ranked Hobart hockey team will be back in action this weekend, Dec. 5-6, when it concludes its four-game road trip against Oswego and Brockport. The Statesmen will be at fourth-ranked Oswego on Friday night and at Brockport on Saturday night. Both games are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
Hobart, which received all 20 first place votes, has been ranked No. 1 in 36 consecutive polls. After a week off for Thanksgiving, the Statesmen enter the week at 8-0-0 overall and 4-0-0 in SUNYAC play.
The Lakers, who also had a week off for Thanksgiving, jumped up two spots to No. 4 in this week's poll. Oswego is 6-0-0 and tied with Hobart atop the SUNYAC standings at 4-0-0.
The Golden Eagles enter the week with a 3-7-0 overall record. They will be at Elmira on Friday night.
