HAVERFORD, Pa.—The Hobart squash team concluded its trip through Pennsylvania with a pair of victories The Statesmen went 2-1 in the Keystone State as they halted a 10-game losing streak.
With the two wins, Hobart improves to 3-10 on the season.
FRANKLIN AND MARSHALL MATCH
- On Friday, the 13th-ranked Diplomats defeated Hobart 9-0. Franklin and Marshall won all nine matches 3-0.
HAVERFORD MATCH
- This morning, the Statesmen took on the Fords and emerged with a 6-3 victory.
- Hobart earned three 3-0 sweeps and had three 3-1 victories.
- In the No. 1 spot, first-year Toby Clegg-Petri defeated Noah Tunis, 11-5, 6-11, 14-12, 11-6.
- Joseph Raskin Lantos notched his seventh win of the season, defeating Aaryaman Jaising 11-4, 9-11, 11-3, 11-4, at No. 2.
- In the third spot, Roberto Vega swept Kai Thomas Schinaman, 11-3, 14-12, 11-1. It was Vega's second win of the year.
- Javier De La Vega knocked off Qianzhi Zhao, 11-6, 11-3, 12-10 at No. 4.
- In the No. 5 spot, Matthew Aldana swept Francis Betkowski, 11-6, 11-4, 11-4.
- Tytus Felbor bested Arvin Krishnan, 11-2, 11-7, 3-11, 11-3.
VASSAR MATCH
- Hobart defeated Vassar 7-2, collecting five 3-0 sweeps.
- Clegg-Petri notched his seventh win of the year, sweeping Konstantinos Georgallides, 11-7, 13-11, 11-4. He is 4-3 in the No. 1 spot this season.
- In the No. 2 spot, Raskin Lantos won his team-leading eighth match of the year defeating Jarid Haslinger, 11-4, 11-5, 11-3.
- Vega swept Kyle Benson, 11-5, 11-7, 11-7, in the No. 3 spot.
- Javier De La Vega topped Matthew Okulski, 11-9, 13-11, 11-13, 12-10 at No. 4.
- Matthew Aldana and Peter Vorbach posted 3-0 sweeps at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively.
- Felbor closed out the match with an 11-8, 10-12, 11-6, 11-5 victory at No. 7.

Hobart concludes its regular season tomorrow, Feb. 2, when it heads to Washington, D.C., to take on Navy. The match is scheduled to begin at 1:15 p.m.
