The Hobart and William Smith Squash teams will be back in action this weekend, Feb 8-9, when they head to Canton, N.Y., to compete in the 2025 Liberty League Squash Championships. St. Lawrence University will host both the men's and women's tournaments at the Robie Squash Center.

FOR THE HERONS
William Smith enters the tournament as the two-time defending league champion. The Herons will compete in a round robin and were drawn into a group with Denison and Vassar. The Herons open the tournament against 23rd-ranked Denison at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8. William Smith will then play Vassar at 3:30 p.m. The Herons' third opponent on the weekend, will be determined based on their finish in their group. Â Â

William Smith is 1-11. The Herons defeated Vassar last Saturday 6-1 for the first win under Head Coach

Reshika Rajarathinam has led the Herons this season. She has a record of 3-9 playing in the No.1 spot and was selected to compete in the CSA Individual Championships.

FOR THE STATESMEN
Hobart will be the fifth seed and face No. 4 seed Denison in its first round match. The match is slated to begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Semifinals and consolation matches will be played in the afternoon on Saturday. The Liberty League Championship match is set for 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9.

Hobart is 3-11 on the season. The Statesmen enter the tournament winners of two of their last three matches, defeating Haverford and Vassar last weekend. Junior
Joseph Raskin Lantos leads the team with an 8-5 record. He has a 6-2 record in the No. 3 spot. First-year Toby Clegg Petri is 7-6 on the year and is 4-4 in the No. 1 spot.
