MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa.—Senior attackman
Will Delano had four points, but the Hobart lacrosse team ran into a hot goalie this afternoon, dropping a 17-7 decision at Robert Morris this afternoon. The Colonials' Nate Fechter recorded 23 saves to hold off the Statesmen, who outshot the home team 52-36.
Delano recorded two goals and two assists. Junior midfielder

Cole Emmanuel won 10-of-18 faceoffs and grabbed a game-high seven ground balls. Senior defenseman
Nolan Firth made a career-high three caused turnovers. Sophomore goalie
Jackson Faiola made 12 saves.
Robert Morris got a game-high seven points from David Burr on three goals and four assists. Calum Brennan scored six goals. Elijah Edwards collected a team-high five ground balls. Faceoff specialist Bo Columbus won 12-of-24 and grabbed four ground balls.
FIRST QUARTER
- RMU scored the first two goals of the game, but Hobart evened the score with back-to-back tallies of its own.
- Delano set up Peterkin's first goal of the day at 8:49. It was his 33rd career assist, tying him with Matt Crowther '96 for 19th place on Hobart's Division I era list.
- Less than a minute later, Connor DiTomasso scored an extra-man goal off a feed from Rosa.
- The Colonials scored the final three goals of the quarter to carry a 5-2 lead into the second quarter.
SECOND QUARTER
- RMU struck first in the frame, but Emmanuel won the ensuing faceoff and went right to the front of the cage, scoring his first goal as a Statesman.
- The Colonials struck twice in the span of 13 seconds to push their advantage to 8-3.
- At 4:49, Delano assisted on Rosa's team-leading 14th goal of the season. That moved Delano into a tie with Sean Donnelly '17 for 18th place on the program's Division I era list.
- Brennan answered a minute later, but Delano closed out the first half scoring at the 2:28 mark.
THIRD QUARTER
- Robert Morris opened the second half with five straight goals to open up a 14-5 lead. Brennan scored twice during the surge.
- Peterkin stopped the run with Tye Steenhuis earning the assist.
FOURTH QUARTER
- RMU closed out the game with a 3-1 scoring advantage.
- Delano netted the Hobart goal.

- The Statesmen fell to 2-3 on the season.
- The Colonials improved to 3-2.
