The top-ranked Hobart hockey team will be back in action on Friday, March 28, when it takes on fourth-ranked Geneseo in a national semifinal in Utica, New York. Faceoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Utica University Nexus Center.
 
Tickets for the semiinals will be sold online here. General admission is $15. Please note each semifinal game is a separate ticket.
 
The Statesmen enter this weekend with a 27-1-1 record. Hobart is coming off a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over No. 7 Trine on Saturday. Trailing 2-0 entering the third period, the Statesmen got two goals from senior captain Luke Aquaro, including the overtime winner. Hobart is making its third consecutive and sixth overall appearance in the NCAA semifinals.
 
The Knights are 24-4-1 this year. Last weekend Geneseo also came from behind to defeat No. 5 Aurora 7-4. This is Geneseo's fifth trip to the national semifinals in program history.
 
Fans who cannot make the trip to Utica can follow the action with a live stream on NCAA.com. The game will also be broadcast on WHWS-FM (105.7) in Geneva.
 
The other semifinal will feature No. 2 Curry against No.6 Utica, at 7 p.m. The winners will meet for the national championship on Sunday, March 30 at 7 p.m.
