Nineteen members of the national champion Hobart hockey team were named to the 2024-25 New England Hockey Conference All-Academic Team today. This is the third straight year that every eligible member of the team earned all-academic recognition. Hobart has had double-digit selections every year since the 2009-10 season.
To be eligible for the NEHC All-Academic Team a student-athlete must carry a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average and have completed one full year at his institution (first-years and first-year transfers are not eligible).
The following Statesmen earned a spot on the team:
Aquaro, Iasenza, Mulhearn, Perryman, Shell and Swift earned recognition for the third time. Beaver, Belov, Daniels, Fasig, Fontana and Goyer were honored for the second straight year.
Hobart concluded the season with a 29-1-1 overall record. The Statesmen were unbeaten in their final 13 games and captured their third straight national championship. The Statesmen went 18-1-1 overall in NEHC play and captured the conference's regular season and tournament titles.
