Herons host Geneseo in midweek clash

The William Smith soccer team will be back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 16, when it returns to Cozzens Field to take on Geneseo at 4:30 p.m. The non-conference contest marks the beginning of a stretch where the Herons will play five of their next six games at home.  
 
William Smith enters the week with a 3-1-1 record and is looking to bounce back from a 3-0 loss to No. 2 Messiah on Saturday.
 
The Knights are 0-1-3 to start the season. Geneseo is coming off a 0-0 draw against Hartwick on Saturday.

  • Senior Julia Accioly leads the Herons with nine points on four goals and one assist.
